Our story
At Errer Backdrops, we create professional vinyl backdrops for photographers, brands, agencies and content creators worldwide who require high-quality surfaces for styling and photography. Our backgrounds come in two sizes and two shapes, round and rectangular and are ideal for a variety of creative fields, including food, products, floral and beauty. In 2025, we proudly introduced the round backdrop shape, offering a unique atmosphere to your scenes. Every design is printed on durable, waterproof vinyl, making them perfect for messy food and drink shoots, flat lay photography, or as vertical backgrounds for still life scenes. Every texture is either captured during our travels or carefully crafted in our studio, reflecting our passion for innovation and attention to detail.
In-house production
Errer’s story is one of choices and changing direction. Our logo, which can face left or right, symbolizes the decisions we made along our journey. Remco and I started as entrepreneurs in fashion. After completing our bachelor’s degree at AMFI, we ran a knitwear brand and our own store, but sadly had to close during the financial crisis. Later, Sabine started her vegan food blog, and she searched for backdrops to shoot her recipes on but only found heavy marble and wood which was not easy to handle. That’s when we decided to design our own backdrops. Remco developed our website, and Errer Backdrops was born. We operate from our design studio in the Netherlands, running everything in-house: design, printing, sampling, cutting, posting, photographing and managing our webshop.
Our passion
Moving from the city to the countryside in 2025 gave us more space and the opportunity to build out our business. Designing backdrops is dynamic, fun and often challenging, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our products featured in cookbooks, magazines and advertisements, becoming part of other creatives’ work.
We have a deep love for animals and through our business, we have the opportunity to support the Greek Cat Care Foundation, a charity that relies on dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to rescue and care for stray cats in Greece, providing them with shelter, food and medical attention. With every sale we donate a percentage to support their mission.
